The Running for Equality relay team is racing loud and proud in support of Renaissance City Choir! Support our Fedex Pittsburgh Marathon Relay team in this year’s Dicks Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, taking place May 7, 2023.
This year’s team—Lydia McShane, Danielle Rutter, RCC Artistic Director Kym Scott, Marlo Perry, and team captain Edie Shealy—needs your help to reach their fundraising goal! GIVE NOW to show your support for the team and Renaissance City Choir’s mission to affirm and celebrate LGBTQIA+ identity through the unifying power of music.
“[The Marathon] is an opportunity for team building within our choir to reach a common goal and to interact with our community in another positive way as a queer person,” explained team captain Edie Shealy. “I want to spread a message of love, kindness, and equality for all, and speak about the choir which is an accepting community. Running in the relay gives me that ability to share that with others.”
